Audiences, however, will already know Hopper’s fate, though where exactly he is and how he got there remain perplexing questions. When we first meet “the American” during a credits scene in Season 3, he is detained near a Demogorgon, which guards appear to be feeding-with prisoners.Īt the beginning of Season 4, Joyce receives a package from the Soviet Union, confirming Hopper is indeed in Russia.
